Have just been offered and installed an upgrade to Song of Songs however after restarting there appears to be a problem. When I try to add a tile slide by clicking on the Title tab along the top of the working space window in the middle of the screen the programme crashes. All the other tabs such as Songs Bible etc seem to work as normal. Is this because of the upgrade? Immediately before the issue happened I had just added a .jpg file image to the Image Library folder. I did not get a chance to try to select that image as a title image - the crash occurs immediately you click the Title tab. Running Windows 10.
I don't have the option to restore a previous version so can't get around the issue that way.

Hi David,

Can you go to settings and change the logging level to 'Verbose' . to to options > Advanced settings and your find a drop down
after you have clicked save, can you restart song of songs, and try again.

This will generate a more detailed log file which will be really helpful.

can you send me the following to support@songofsongs.co.uk

The Log files from the c:\temp folder, a screen shot of all the files in your image directory and the image which you added to your image library.

Regards,

Gordon

Upgrade now working fine and thanks again to Gordon for his fast and reliable advice and support - even when it is not his error. A useful learning opportunity however. I had saved the wrong type of file into the image folder. A fix for this will be made in the next upgrade so that errors like that don't cause the programme to crash. Still love the programme.
