Hello again,
I have another issue, whenever we try to change a song to a moving background the "thumbnail" gets what looks like a test pattern behind the words and if you continue the program crashes.
I originally thought it might be that the videos were at a different resolution than the screen and so I resized one to test it. The issue persists even with the resized video.
Thanks
Will

Hi Will,

The thumbnail with the test pattern is correct as running multiple videos for the thumbnails requires a high performance Computer/CPU, and we are trying to keep Song of Songs ability to run on lower spec computers.

We are aware of a problem with videos having different resolutions and has been fixed in the next version.

If you can send me the log files, (found in c:\temp\) and i'll double check to see if there is any other problems going on.

Email the logs to Support@songofsongs.co.uk

regards,

Gordon

Thanks Justine,

We have also been looking at VLC as the video playback pluggin

It would probably also be a good idea to update the VLC plugin.

If you update VLC to 3.0.4 or uninstall VLC and installed the latest version from

http://download.songofso...rces/vlc-3.0.4-win32.exe

It helps with play back and smoother playback, and might fix your problem.

This will be installed on new installs from Monday, but current users need to update their VLC to the latest version.

regards,

Gordon

Hi there Gordon,

I've tried your suggestion. Seems like it still doesn't work. Maybe I just wait for the update on Monday and see how to go about it after that. Thanks for your feedback.

Warm regards,
Justine A J Dilou
