The main issue I can’t work out has to do with editing a song that is listed in the Sunday order of service. If, for example, the song has 4 verses and 1 chorus, and I only wish to use verses 1-3 and the chorus – I can edit the song order in the ‘Song Order’ section of the ‘Song Editor’, and remove verse four from the song order. But, when I save that edit, verse four always shows up in the main screen song display. Is there some way to display only the verses that I choose to use?

Hi Ronhamm,

I think I know what you mean. The ordering is so that you can order the verse and chorus, but if you don't use all the verses in the order, it will add the left over ones to the end of the service element.

My understanding of what you are saying is that you only want to display what is in the order and nothing else.

I will look into adding a setting that if you want to hide verses/chorus that are in the song but not in the order.

Regards,

Gordon.

Thank you Gordon. That would be awesome if a setting could be added to hide the verses/chorus that are not being used!!!
We're using SOS for the first time tomorrow - looking forward to it.
Thanks again,
Ron

Hi Ron,

Looks like this is gonna be easy to add, so we will release an update on Monday with this in it.

Regards,

Gordon.

Hi Gordon,
Thanks again for offering to make the change.
I was just checking if there was an update to SOS, but don't see it... did I possibly miss it?

Hi Ron,

We unfortunately missed the release window on Monday so it will be next week.

There were some unforeseen things that cropped up and we weren’t confident to push out a new release on Monday and wanted a couple more days of testing. So the next release day is the 22nd April.

Sorry about that, but we want to make sure we are releasing quality software.

Gordon.

Hi Gordon,
No worries whatsoever!!! I much appreciate you doing this. I fully understand the importance of testing.
Thanks again!

Hi Ron,

Just released the latest version with the update to only show ordered verses/chorus. You just need to turn it on in the song settings.

Enjoy.

Gordon.
